About the Melbourne Language Institute
Established in 2009 and situated in Australia’s major cities such as Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide, this institute of learning prides itself in offering a fun and dynamic way to learn different languages with the option of many different courses. It caters for the beginner as well as the intermediate just needing a bit of brushing up. Languages are taught by instructors who teach at native level speaking. The aim is to make learning a foreign language both easy and enjoyable and this is achieved by their various methods of teaching.
Every new student’s ability to learn is taken into account and they are taught accordingly. Students are encouraged to participate fully in the many programmes organised to making learning easier. The teachers have a conversational approach to lessons rather than grammatical as this makes things less complicated and is far more conducive to easy learning. Classes are small and kept to a maximum of 13 students per class. This enables the student as well as the teacher to obtain the best results.
The Melbourne Language Institute also offers a variety of online courses which are concentrated on the speaking of a foreign language. Lessons are conducted through exercises involving both speaking and writing and are marked by native speakers. The advantage of online courses are that they can be done in your own time period, lessons can be repeated as many times as desired and access to sharing with online students is limitless, thus offering you a dynamic of learning that will have you hooked in no time.
Courses are 6 weeks in length and classes are on a once a week basis and for a duration of 1.5 hours. Everything you may require for the course is included. There are no examinations or tests conducted during the course and it is up to the student as to whether or not homework given is completed. Throughout the course related language events will be organised and these are free to the students.
